Q: Do you provide a free estimating service?
A. Yes we provide a free no obligation estimating service, please call or email us for more information.
Q. Do you allow samples to be taken home?
A. Yes we can provide samples for you to borrow.
Q. Do you remove and dispose of old floor coverings?
A. Yes we can remove and dispose of your old floorcovering for a small charge.
Q. Do you cut doors?
A. Yes our fitters cut most types of doors for a small charge.
Q. Do you move furniture?
A. Yes we can move some furniture as long as the small items are moved for a small charge and any appliances have been disconnected.
Q. Do I need to prepare the room for my new carpet?
A. Yes, we want your fitting process to be as smooth as possible. Some things you can do to help the installation include:
- Remove as much as possible from the area to be fitted
- Remove your old flooring (unless using our uplift and disposal service see above)
- Ensure that any potential hazards, like pipes and cables, are brought to the attention of the fitters;
- Check whether doors will need to be adjusted to take account of the pile height of the new carpet (unless using our door cutting service see above)
Q. Do I need new underlay?
A. Yes we do recommend new underlay when buying a new carpet but this additional expense is entirely up to you.
Q. Do you provide a binding service?
A. Yes we do provide a binding service to make rugs and runners utilising any spare carpet you may have for a small charge.
